The Village Hall is open via phone (482-3110) and email (clerk@villageofthomastonny.gov)
during normal business hours, Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
All applications and correspondence may be deposited
through the mail slot in the door.
The public works emergency line is available after hours, on weekends and holidays.

A message from Mayor Weinberg,
PSEGLI may have enrolled customers in “Time-of-Day” peak and off- peak billing from flat rate billing, starting January 2026.
In some cases, the enrollment was by default and you, as the customer, did not choose to enroll in time of day, peak and off-peak billing.
Time of day billing may save you money if you use a substantial number of kilowatts such as for charging electric car(s) or if you happen to have a pool. Otherwise, flat rate billing is probably less expensive for most consumers.
You may call PSEGLI customer service line at 1-800-490-0025 to speak to a customer service representative and review whether Time-of-Day or flat rate billing is less expensive for you. If you prefer, you may request to be switched back to flat rate billing. PSEGLI may issue a credit for the difference if you paid more with the Time-of-Day rate compared with the flat rate billing. Any credit may be applied to your next bill.

Common Sense Precautions to Prevent Vehicle Theft
While vehicle thefts are not common in Thomaston, the Nassau County Police Departments want to remind everyone that 98% of stolen vehicles occur due to the operator leaving the FOB/key in the car.
To prevent items from being stolen from cars and vehicles thefts:
- Always remove your FOB/keys from your vehicle when you are not operating it
- Never leave a spare FOB/key in the vehicle
- Ensure your vehicle is locked at all times and close all windows
- Never leave your vehicle running and unattended
- Park your car in the garage if possible, especially at night
- Park you vehicle in a well-lit and highly visible area
