The Village of Thomaston is a member of the Manhasset Bay Protection Committee, an inter-municipal organization focused on
addressing water quality and coastal issues facing Manhasset Bay. The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation monitors
water quality in Manhasset Bay, the Long Island Sound, and other watersheds within New York. Information concerning water quality
