When the Village sent out the notification that the Village Hall would serve as a donation site for Hurricane Harvey relief, we had no idea that the response would be overwhelming. Donations of non-perishable food; bottled water, baby food, formula and diapers; personal hygiene products; and cleaning products came pouring in immediately following the Swift911 email and continued throughout the two-week donation drive.
At the end of the drive, we filled eight large boxes, the most donations of all of the sites
coordinated by Senator Phillips!
Thank you to all of the residents who made donations and to New York State Senator Elaine Phillips who, in partnership with Island Harvest, organized this effort!
